Blaire Crawley
Dip. Remedial Massage, Adv. Dip. Myotherapy

Blaire commenced her Diploma of Remedial Massage in 2010, after side stepping from a visual arts education and sales job. A lifelong interest in sports and a growing interest in the interrelationship with health, fitness and performance, Blaire saw remedial and sports massage as a good way to integrate it all.
Studying through The Southern School of Natural Therapy and The Australian College of Massage, Blaire qualified in 2013 and soon began cutting her teeth through local football and netball clubs as a trainer and therapist.
Joining her first clinic at an established Albury practice in 2014, Blaire spent the next 4 years there strengthening clinical skills and building a vast and varied client following. Through continued professional development courses Blaire’s interests built in stretching and movement, kinesio and rigid taping, dry needling and IASTM.
In 2016, Blaire commenced her Advanced Diploma of Myotherapy at Melbourne Institute of Massage Therapy; advancing her assessment skills, exercise prescriptions, dry needling techniques, among others. Completing study in mid 2017, Blaire brought the skill set back to the clinic with a special interest in dry needling and its use in chronic pain/tension treatment.
In early 2018, Blaire took the leap into opening her own business. Welcome MASTT Myotherapy (MASTT = Massage And Soft Tissue Therapy).

What is Myotherapy ?

Myotherapy is an evidence-based manual therapy that takes a holistic approach in assessing, treating and rehabilitating musculoskeletal conditions to restore and optimize function.   Whilst heavily based on remedial massage, a myotherapy treatment is customized, and will always include functional and passive assessment, manual techniques, stretch and exercise prescription, and client education.  Whether it is pain relief, restoring of normal function, improved performance or just overall health, myotherapy can work with the individual to achieve those goals.
